It will win on election day and lose a month later after all the fake ballots are counted. Oh So California!

California is an absolute disaster when elections get rigged and people keep silent, they get exactly that,Every single politician in California is a fraud.

We all know the unions run the state government. When the public gets rid of its bad apple puppets. Now they want to put the next puppet in line to replace that person. Do think the unions wanted Arnold Schwarzenegger? When their puppet Gray Davis had to go. No, the unions spent a lot of money fighting Schwarzenegger on everything he wanted to do to get the state back on track. This little tweak in the state constitution will keep the union puppets running the state into the ground.

MRB: The Republican Party needs to get serious about public sector unions. They began under a JFK Executive Order and it's exploded since then. Even FDR was opposed to allowing coddled bureaucrats to unionise. And, since they got away with it, they've essentially made a mockery of "collective bargaining" and budget restraints. They'll be the end of the Republic unless somebody does something, such as Scott Walker did in Wisconsin. Reining in the public sector unions should are priority number one in the Republican Party platform.

As the song goes "Say it ain't so Jim" The public sector unions have driven the cost of government well over 30% more than it should be.

The communists would love to choose all their successors. It is the communist way. Who needs elections? Right?

Thing is, one day the communists will lose power in California and all this legislation and propositions they put out to protect their power will turn on them.

" . . one day the communists will lose power in California. ."

No they won't. As long as power (and elections) are in the hands of the stupid voters the Commie-Dems are here to stay!

The corruption in California is over the charts and talk about in our face! They aren't hiding anymore! There's no laws they won't break to stay in power. They all should be in prison right now. The balls they have have grown exponentially is beyond belief!😱😤😡

An excellent essay explaining the absolute need to retain the current system with the perfect example of Davis-Schwarzenegger and not Bustamante. Common sense dictates a NO vote on Proposition 5. Common sense: An attribute unfortunately sorely lacking in so many of the electorate.

When the people start waking up the political bullies will hammer them down.

More and more the party in charge today, is moving to the Socialist system and will hand the taxpayer the bill for each move.

It is time to leave? In the process you hand them the baseball bat to beat on who is left.

This is eye opening and a wonderfully clear explanation of what Prop 5 really is. THANK YOU!!

Definetly No. I'm so sick of California and their one party policies. Born and raised here it was once a beautiful state with loads of opportunities.

The Democrats have destroyed it.

You've got me!

No on Prop 5. And any other Prop emerging from the political class, on any subject, that removes one iota of the power of the people.

Yikes some of the comments are so vicious, I thank you for bringing your clearcut honest description of prop 5 to our attention, I will share with others and hope that awareness and knowledge prevails.
