While I believe in Voter ID, Prop 39 is NOT the solution. I urge you to take another look. It creates an ID process outside the existing DMV managed process, with little to no explanation of the who, what, and where of the process, the rigor of the process and the massive cost of creating a whole new ID system. This is NOT a solution its a recipe for disaster.
Thank you James for all the helpful insights and background on agenda items over the weeks and the showing us the right way to vote.
Now…EVERYONE Please get your ballots filled out without further ado!! Drop boxes at County Administration Building and behind City Hall, both conveniently located on Anacapa Street.
I received this as SPAM - people should be voting NO on measure 39 by the way, the only people who want voting to be harder rather than easier tend to be anti-democracy. (They tend to make up unfounded stories of voter fraud too.) If anyone wants a pro-democracy voter guide I'd recommend https://voterguide.dsa-la.org/
Pro-democracy means following the constitution and ensuring that those that are eligible to vote in this country are in fact those voters. Currently voting is a free for all, and there are documented cases of fraud. That said Prop 39 is terribly flawed with the creation of yet another ID system in CA that will cost taxpayers millions
I say Amen to all those recommendations!
James Fenker> Why no endorsement for the 24th Congress seat? Carbajal is too afraid to debate. Clearly... Bob Smith for Congress.

Let’s put the sense back into sensibility!

But I have been soooo busy, and the ballot is sooooooo long.
But it is politics and you cannot change the game.
The But's pile up and you make every excuse not to vote.
You know what that make you!!! Change the spelling any you get it. (butt)
VOTE and then deliver it to the elections office. Don't trust the mail.
Done voted already
