Given California’s crooked election system, no GOP candidate is going to be declared the victor in a Statewide or otherwise important election. I still vote every time, but feel like Charlie Brown trying to kick the football while Liberal Lucy is the holder.
Bonta and Newsom have been a great wrecking ball team for California. Why are they closing prisons? Is crime really down or is the reporting of crime down? Has the way we report crime changed or has Newsom and Bonta changed what crime really means?
Not only wiould the AG fight against a Governor they didn't support but so will the legislatures. California needs a total reset. We don't need more crime and less law enforcement and prisons. We need responsible people representing Californians. We need less spending, fraud and abuse of or tax dollars.
I don't want to move to another state. It is difficult when you've lived here for over 40 years to see your beautiful state pillaged by one politician after another. Crime is rampant, the state is dirty just like it's politicians and a labor union has totally taken over our government.
Dear Everyone. Get out the vote. Get your Republican voters to the polls. Kicking and complaining they will. But get them there. Do you have ride to polls volunteers? Do you have enough large SUVs to drive folks there and back? Yes. The get them organized NOW. Plan routes and schedules. One vote at a time. Just keep them coming. They are there. Even as in my neighborhood where most are registered Democrats, they want Newsom and the entire cabal out. If they need a ride, pick them up. And hammer Goleta because so very many young men are sitting it out. Get after them.

Five star dining, multi-million dollar homes that do not match their incomes. Children put on the auction block. Children having their body's hacked. I will vote for Miachael Gates, but for there to be real change, the California Republican Party has to shed its image and become a party focused on California. Its priorities must be on actively promising and delivering solutions and improvements to the issues and improvements in California life that voters are pining for. California is larger in size, in population and GDP than many independent countries. For the California Republican party to win over the majority of voters, it must be objectively California focused. There is a way to bring that about, but it will take several years of change to accomplish it. The election of Michael Gates could be a step in that direction, but he must be given all the tools necessary to get elected by the existing Republican Party.

We lost 4 from Newsome's "illiegal" politics. And the democrats want people to believe Trump is the law breaker! Yes, voters are regurgitating what they hear.

Thanks James for sharing the importance of the position of Attorney General. "Prosecutorial discretion" is a powerful tool. During the Clinton-Obama-Biden administrations when someone their AG's agreed with would bring a law suit the AG's would sign a consent agreement that would be enforceable even if the underlying law suit was a loser. An example is the "hold and release" immigration ploy that Clinton's AG made enforceable through a consent agreement.
